PROJECTS

The aim of the network of volunteers is to strengthen the institutional capacities of social organizations in Latin America, enabling them to achieve greater sustainability and efficiency in their management. Thus, at least once a year will develop a project that is tailored to the needs of the organization that we support.

The projects consists of three stages where all the volunteers are involved in some of these:

Stage 1: the first step is preparation of the project, in which volunteers works remotely each from its country, organizing logistics, designing and preparing the methodology and materials for activities to develop, raising funds and providing all the details for the implementation of the project.

Stage 2: this is the implementation stage  where volunteers travel to the country where is the beneficiary organization to realize the planned activities.

Satage 3: once the project is completed, voluntary return to their countries of origin to make a final assessment, accountability and share the experience. In addition voluntary offer technical assistance and support to the beneficiary organization to support concrete project goals.

In October 2016 , the volunteers traveled to Merida in Mexico to work with HUNAB who was the first organization beneficiary of volunteer project. This was posible with the financial and technical support granted by Plan International USA and Versado Foundation and a CrowdFunding campaign.
